Beautiful hidden gems in central Dalmatia

If you are looking for great places to visit, and you have already been in Croatia and visited Hvar, Vis and Korčula, here are some true hidden gems to visit.

These destinations are less popular and less crowded, but very beautiful.

1) Island Šolta, Tatinja Bay Beach

Tatinja bay beach on Šolta is isolated and ideal for boat access. Tatinja bay is a paradise for boaters, more than for swimmers, but many come here because of the peace and clean sea and the nature that adorns the bay.

On Šolta, you may be drawn to this wide bay on the southern shores of the island and because of the restaurant carved in stone that offers the most delicious local food, with selected wines and indigenous olive oil. You might also want to pull up here for a couple of tiny pebble beaches that you can enjoy with your little ones. Whatever the reason, you will enjoy the magical view of the cove bordered by lush vegetation, stone cuttings that plunge into the sea, and the brilliant blue that relaxes and heals your body and mind.

2) Island Hvar, Pribinja bay

Another great spot is Pribinja bay, located on the west side of Hvar island. Pribinja bay is beautiful natural bay ideal for mooring @ buoy (free if you eat at restaurant Arsenol), or anchorage. Bay is great for swimming, and has only a few private houses and 2 restaurants (Arsenol, and konoba Ringo). Food, especially sea food, is amazing.

3) Island Hvar, Vrboska

Vrboska on Hvar is one of the most picturesque villages on the island. It is called small Venice due to a bridge and low waterfront. Not only that it is beautiful and charming, it also has great coffee bars and restaurants, a winery, ice-cream stores. Famous restaurant Trica Gardelin serves best lobster in the area, while konoba Lem has best fish & shrimp soup as well as shade during hot summer days.

4) Island Vis, Stoncica bay

Stoncica Bay is hiden beach on the east side of the island of Vis, east of the port of Vis. It is famous after beautiful beach surrounded by amazing Mediterranean vegetation and crystal clear sea. Stoncica Bay is a charming, friendly and discrete bay, in one word relaxing summer destination. On the beach there is a restaurant in the beautiful environment, offers an excellent gourmet cuisine and a wide selection of beverages and wine quality.
